2-Step Verification Problems & Troubleshooting
Nearly all 2-step verification issues will boil down to being unable to complete the 2-step verification process to access your account. However, you will still be able to access your account with 2-step verification if either of following are true:
- An alternate/secondary 2-step verification method is enabled (and you can access that method).
- Emergency backup codes enabled AND the codes accessible.
If either of those is true, you can use the alternate/secondary method to complete the 2-step verification and access your account. Note: It is HIGHLY recommended you at least enable emergency backup codes for 2-step verification as an alternative/secondary method.
To use an alternate/secondary 2-step verification method, click the Try another way link at the bottom of the 2-Step Verification window, then select the alternate/secondary method you wish to use.
When prompted, complete the 2-step verification method, and you should now have access to your account.
2-Step Verification Not Enabled
If you have not enabled 2-step verification, you will not be able to access your account. Upon logging in you will get a message alerting you to see your system administrator.
